Operation Christmas Child
We are excited to have the opportunity to participate in Operation Christmas Child this year. Our ministry wide goal is to collect items for 100 shoeboxes! We will begin to collect items September 4. You can bring items to the church office, your child’s class at Pilgrim, or on a Sunday in the Welcome Area.
Below are the list for each age group Operation Christmas Child collects for:
Our Freedom 1:17 ministry seeks to defend those who are victims of modern day slavery, both locally and globally. Their mission is based on Isaiah 1:17: "Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow." Currently Freedom 1:17 is working with IJM to help provide children, who are orphans or children of land grabbed widows, with an education. Locally, Freedom 1:17 is beginning their work with the Freedom Church Alliance. If you would like to donate to Freedom 1:17's project, please go to our Giving page.
